Really?  Does a data CD really have those huge offsets (interleaves?) that
the audio disks use, to avoid having burst errors pork 2-3 consectutive
sectors (which allows simple error concealment schemes to get a leg up)? 
What's the point, with data?  One bit's worth of error is death, right?
