The disarming would be a quick manuever because I would be in fear of
my life. The corresponding action of firing said weapon would be the
logical next manuever as I was trained to do; As I have no way of
immediatly knowing if he has another weapon or not. It's an automated
process. No thought involved.

See above. He could have another sidearm, and/or knife. I have no way
of determining that; He pulled one already at that point. I don't have
to continue disarming him.

I love to target shoot and I enjoy martial arts.
