Fake and/or trumped up stories run just before the special election in
California, which were uncorroborated, false, misleading, and not prepared
in conformance with even the LA Times' own previous limited standards of
verification and corroboration for political stories were clearly aimed at
trying to swing the election for Gray Davis. This fact was recognized
nationally and should be easy for you to turn up, unless you are dedicated
to not seeing same. The decline in the LA times readership is well
documented. I've seen the links posted on Drudge many times. They lost
many thousands of subscriptions for their transparent attempt at throwing
the special election to Gray Davis. A trend that has been going on for
some time.

Look it up, I'm not wasting my time looking for info for a Canadian liberal
who isn't interested in changing his opinion about anything American.
