  I believe Tom is sincere about this. In fact, I was the one who let him know
of the possible availability of GT for sale...since its original author, Paul
Meiners, stopped development after the last release in 1994. I ran GT Power as
a dial-up BBS for 13 years, and am thrilled with the idea of "going back to my
BBS roots", and have volunteered as a "guinea pig beta
tester", and a bit of a
"consultant" on the features...although Tom will do most of the
work on it. 

  Tom said that he's going to do "several small releases", rather
than one big
one, but it'll take a bit to get everything together...so folks shouldn't
xpect
it to happen overnight. :)
