-= Pete Replied to Sidney Chow about: Definitions! =-

G'day Sidney

SC> First, I don't know what Blers and Link Naks are, and what Line
SC> Reversals, Link Timeouts... I know what retraining is though.
SC> Also, Equalization is Long, but what is Equalization?

Blers = Block Errors, dud LAP-M or MNP data blocks
Naks = Negative acknowledge, not sure?
Line Reversals = Only applies to HST i think, as HST uses the whole
line bandwidth for one direction the direction has to
be reversed to send data the other way.

SC> P.S. I had Fallback Enabled this time (with a V.FC connect, but
SC> I remember all the previous connects at 28.8k or 26.4k had
SC> Fallback Disabled... so does anyone know how to MANUALLY turn
 SC> Fallback ON for

I think Fallback Enabled/Disabled is more to do with if the other end
has it enabled or not.
