Checking on my system, I did nothing special to install InstPtr.  It
is in its own folder in UtileCS folder.

Checking how it works, it creates a new AuxPrint.pak in the
C:\os2\dll\pscript folder.  It also backs up the earlier files.

The mistake I made was thinking that clicking on the printer driver
would give access to the file.  To access the newly installed file,
one must either use ecsprint.exe (instPtr updates its printer list) or
use the Create Another Printer option which one gets when one clicks a
printer icon with the RMB.  These are the ways to access the updated
AuxPrint.pak.
