I've got a couple of Brothers - one home - one work. They both use
BrotherScript (their version of PostScript) and have worked well. i
don't think either is current - I think Brother have replaced them - but
I've had no problems. One is HL-2700 and other is MFC2940.
Could probably do better - but could definitely do worse. They have a
PPD file which allows you to set up the printers under OS/2 - and no
more problems. I don't know a lot about PS - but .PPD files appear very
simple - so check those are available. There may be other options.
