Rich, I had a little advantage here. Most persons with arrest powers will as 
statistics show, never fire an on duty shot off the range. I am probably one 
ofthe few in my KLEC KY basicPO class that ever fired a shot. of course as 
there are far more officers that work sedat relatively peaceful jurisdictions 
than work high crime urban areas. Thus many of us/you have never thought 
seiously about this situation. Since my disability retirement as a resul of a 
line of duty injury, things for police in geberal seem to have deteriorated.
It's not the guns but the criminals.'
