In 1994 there were huge celebrations for 50 years of liberation.
 
When vehicles full of Canadian veterans drove through northern Belgium and 
certain Dutch provinces there were a lot of men and woman aged 49-50 holding-up 
signs: "Are you my father?".
 
Says enough I think.
