I don't recall the name or the actual place where he surrendered. All I recall about the incident was that the Canadians had a command post set up in a hotel or something of that nature where he was scheduled to officially surrender. When he did show up the Americans promptly nabbed him and whisked him off to their headquarters and took the credit for his "capture". I suppose in a way the Americans were right that he was captured and didn't surrender or at least not oficially. If I find the referance again I'll be happy to relay it to you i you wish.
