I don't quite understand your question, but it's possible to use AT
commands after you finish a SLIP/PPP session with Win 95. Use a DOS or
Win 3.x communications program and proceed as usual (however, make sure
the modem isn't given an ATZ command after you finish the SLIP/PPP
session). You can also use a Win 95 comms program that can bypass the
Win 95 telephony layer e.g. Hyperterm or Qmodem Pro 95.

If you have a USR and want to get connection statistics after each
connect, you have to edit the registry to make sure that Win 95 resets
the modem with AT&F1 instead of ATZ. Go to:

My
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Class\Modem\0000

(assuming that 0000 describes your modem - it could be 0001 etc. if you
have more than one modem set up in Win 95)

Make sure the Reset key says "AT&F1" instead of
"ATZ".

Sunny
