Me either, but I didn't bring it up. It was used as an argument in
favor of accepting circumstantial evidence.... I think.

I don't agree. Why do you feel that it is natural to assume that
something you can't see, touch, smell, or taste is extraterrestrial?

I agree that they are two different issues, but strangely, in my
experience, the majority of folks that believe in one also believe in
the other. This creates a connection in my opinion.

The "evidence" supporting both are uncannily similar in nature... all
based on hearsay and/or circumstances, but nothing tangible and
testable.
