David, I think you are off base on this one.  I have read the letter and the 
resolution, and also Seeing Eye's response to the federation.  I think the 
federation is using a sledge hammer where a discussion between the federation 
officers or convention comittee and the Seeing Eye would have been 
sufficient.  I think this kind of stuff sparks needless negative feelings in 
Seeing Eye graduates and federation and non federation members alike.  
Frankly, I am really surprised and disappointed in the reaction of the 
federation on this issue.
