I have a Medtronics 7086 pacemaker implanted. This is my eighth
pacemaker since 1968 when I was seven years old. I have mine checked
twice a year. I think this is pretty much the norm.  How often is yours
checked? Why did you need one?  I had mine after I developed a completed
heart block after open heart surgery. How old are you?  I'm 35 years old
with a husband and two daughters.
