Also, the addition of a filter between the fan and the scope will remove
any rotating of the air as it goes across the primary.  Deflectors to
spread the air is also a good idea as otherwise the air will just cool one
corner to the other side where it is a lot more spread out. I'll also note
that the big low volume fans make for good blowers.  You don't need a gale
in there but just a bit of flow. Bob May
