The widely available PKZIP/2 program was based on PKZIP v1.0 and
supports neither extended attributes nor long filenames nor the
"new" (c. 1993) v2 compression algorithms. Apparently PKWare
currently has a new OS/2 product in beta, but I haven't tried it
myself (InfoZip works fine for me). Try http://www.pkware.com if
