Howdy Charles.........sure you're not thinking of the previous OS/2 NS beta
release? I've been running the current version since it was released and
never had a problem with it except for the name/address bug; there's a simple
solution for that problem and once I found out about the work around there's
been absolutely no problems. I will say though, I don't run any of the
plug-in, multimedia stuff (not importent to me) so I can't say what kind of
problems they may entail.

Hmmmm............AFAIK, if installing TCP/IP is out of the question, then
you'd end up using an ISPs shell account.........are you sure you can even
run NetScape through your ISPs shell account? AFAIK, you won't be able to
(but it certainly won't be the first tiime I've been wrong! ). Quite
honestly, I guess my advice to you would be to do the TCP/IP install, grab
the OS/2 version of Netscape and then spend the money you'd spent on the
Windows version of NS to register Injoy which is and ISP phone dialer (much
recommended by me and others) and thereby avoid the hassle of setting up the
IBM dialer and PPP command files etc.
I know this doesn't answer your question on installing the Windows version
under OS/2 but quite honestly I think you'd be further ahead just installing
tcp/ip, installing netscape and grabbing a copy of Injoy off your local OS/2
bbs.
