Interesting side note: When I first picked up an ISP, I made a habit of
setting port speed to 57600 to "speed things up". After a month or so, I
started getting regular error messages to the effect that Navigator couldn't
negotiate a common protocol between my computer & the ISP.
On their advice, I dropped down to 38400 and I've never had that problem
again. And my thruput is just as good...
