Wonderful!
I had one interfaced to my KIM-1 single board computer.
When I was living in Columbus, Ohio, we used a KIM-1 to control an Icom 2
meter transceiver and thought we were in technology heaven.
I remember the excitement of buying an FT-980 with a computer-controlled
interface. I could scan the SW bands with my TRS-80 and log the receptions
automatically.
Those were the days of 110/300 baud barn-burners. :-)
