Oh it was more than that. I took it as a insult as it was plain that the
"mission" was in no way "accomplished" & that it
was just the beginning but that frankly all the PBI who were out there
getting shot & killed etc....somehow weren't there coz after all Bush
had said "mission accomplished". Not merely that, but w/o any
doubt it spurred the iraqi resistance as frankly it was humiliating for the
Iraqis.

All in all not merely dumb & insulting but actively counter productive.

To put it another way, how many Coaltion troops were killed before the
event vs were killed after? & if the number killed after are greater
than those killed before then.....
