This worked a few times for me. This is from memory, but I'm pretty sure
it's correct.
Put these lines in your config.sys right after your hpfs.ifs line.
Substitute your own drive letter to match your system:
DEVICE=I:\OS2\INSTALL\IBMLANLK.SYS I:\OS2\INSTALL\IBMLANLK.LST
RUN=I:\OS2\INSTALL\IBMLANLK.EXE I:\OS2\INSTALL\IBMLANLK.LST
Reboot. You should see the "processing locked files" messages. All should
