I am using an Alva Braille display at work which has speach already
built into it. Alva provides its own screen reader program for this
setup; however, the German version of it still has a problem which to
my knowledge they did not fix yet. So I use the HAL Speech Software
in conjunction with the software for the Alva Braille display. I use
the same set-up at home where I have a 40-cell Alva Braille display
without built-in speech. My External synthesizer here is a Juno from
Dolphin Systems in the United Kingdom.
   Best greetings,
   Norbert.
P.s.: the same set-ups also work with Jaws for Windows.
