I left Canada (from Malton Field) in December 1974. It was a very busy
period, and there were several extra sections. There were three of us, and
by company procedure we had to take separate flights. I was the middle one
of the three, on an Air Canada Jumbo. I got home without incident.

The one before was a 707 - burst a tyre while taxiing. The one after me
was a VC10 - engine fire during takeoff and a successful abort.
