No, a SUPRA caller (Rod) connects, etc.  There is absolutely NO evdience to
suggest that this is happening with any other V.32bis modem.  None at all.

Presumably the Courier is attempting a 21600 V.32ter connect, given that
USR has extended AT&T's original protocol to cover this extension ?
