The file is an external program used to activate the sound card when the
program completes a transfer, or connects to a system. Another easier(maybe)
way of doing this is to obtain the connection for connecting the PC speaker
to the sound card. I have done this and it works.
When the system wants to send noise to the PC speaker, it goes through the
sound card. But the only drawback I can see to this is that the initial beep 
of the computer on startup does not go through the sound card because the
soundcard is not inialized at that point.
Just a suggestion.
