We were discussing aspects other than dodgy EPROM code though Paul.  My
point is that even if the early V.32bis Supra (Rod's modem) does have a
less than perfect implementation of the V.32bis code, it's largely
irrelevant, as Supras have never been marketed here as Austel approved. 
Ergo, very few people would be using them locally (and the later unapproved
Supras appear fine anyway).

Like your Spirit, or your NetComm ?  Surely you jest.  The simple fact is
that in general, Austel approval does little more than cripple the bloody
things.
