In a message dated 08-17-95, Marilyn Woods said to All: MW>We are still using Paradox 3.5 as it generally meets our needs and is MW>purchased with tax dollars. Question: how can I MOVE (not copy) an MW>item from Table A to Table B? We are the most basic of users so please MW>be kind in your response. Any help would be gratefully appreciated! MW>--- MW>(1:154/280) One method that you could use is a delete query on Table A which would remove the desired information. The take that Deleted table and add the information to Table B. Make sure to do this before you leave Pdox or you will lose the deleted table. Hope this helps, Matt Elmore Matt Elmore ___ * MR/2 2.14 NR * Give me ambiguity or give me something else. --- WILDMAIL!/WC v4.12 ---------------MW> * Origin: Exec-PC BBS > World's Largest BBS (414-789-4360) < * Origin: St. Louis Users Group BBS > FIDO 878-7614 (1:100/4.0) |
