5.12? Where did that come from? Last version I remember seeing of fastecho
(the verion I use) is 1.46pl1.

You are talking about the FastEcho program written by Tobias Burtchard(SP!)
to toss Fidonet compatable echomail/netmail packets into the message base,
right?

Have you looked in your fesetup to see where the fe.log is defined as being
and looked in that directory?
