Nils and Tom,

I made a mirror test stand using a Piano Hinge to get around some of the
same problems.  It tilts up and down on two contact points on the base and
left and right on the piano hinge.  There is very little slop in this
arrangement.  I have not tried to design a mirror cell, however.
