I have a proposal for an enterprising programmer out there.
Some time ago, I wrote a QWK/Bluewave door for RemoteAccess. The last
alpha release was in February and was tested with RA 2.50 beta 3.
IMHO, it was a great door, and unless things have changed dramatically
it blows the pants off of OLMS, JCQWK, and Blue Wave.
The problem is that I no longer run a BBS and no longer have the time to
continue development. There are a couple of bugs and rough edges which
need some work.
So, if anyone is interested, I'm willing to turn over a copy of the
source code for someone to continue development. It was written in
PowerBASIC, but the conversion to C or Pascal would be simple, if time
consuming. The syntax and structure is so similar, it could probably be
automated.
If you think you'd like to try, I'd appreciate seeing a sample of your
programming, and I'll send you a copy of the existing alpha version.
The further details can be worked out once I choose someone.
Please send inquiries via INTERNET EMAIL ONLY to eja@ufl.edu. I will
not receive your mail unless you use this address.
Thanks!
