Ok, check this out:
1. I did a virgin install and got the vw32s.sys error on boot
up and NS/2 failed to work.
2. Did a selective removal of Win-OS/2 and re-installed it, NS/2
worked and the vw32s.sys error went away (so did the multimedia sounds).
3. I did a selective install of MMOS2 and the sounds returned, NS/2
still works and the vw32s.sys is still gone. Happy! Happy!.. almost.
4. Tried to apply FP3 to bring the restored features to the same level
as the rest of the OS and get a Corrective Service Facility error message,
"A previous installation of service is still pending. The system must be
rebooted to allow the process to complete before applying additional
rvice."
I've followed everything I could find in the readme's and can't make that
message go away. Any ideas? The good part though is that everything
appears to be running super. Maybe I should leave well enough alone.
