Subject: Annual Picnic announcement
The Greater San Antonio Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of
Texas will hold it's annual chapter picnic on Saturday, August 16, 1997
from 2 until 7 P.M. at the Villa De Oro Appartments Clubhouse.  The
address is 130 Camino De Oro Road San Antonio, Texas.  We will have a
catered barbe-que with all the trimmings, music, singing, and other
activities.  Whether you live here in San antonio or if your travels are
taking you through this area come and join us for an afternooon of fun and
food.  It will give you a little tast ofwhat to expect in Dallas next
year.
Just one other matter.  We received a message from a federationist
questioning our posting of these announcements on nfb--talk and
blind-talk.  As a result of posting these announcements here we have
gained several new members.  So you never know who may see these
announcements and how many blind persons could benefit from our work.
perhaps other dchapters might also want to post similar information about
their activities on these lists as well.
WE are hoping to see you all at our annual picnic; if only in spirit, but
the door is always open.  Take care and have a good week.
