Thanks again for the info on macros.  I wonder if you could 
help me out with another question?  I WP5.1 I created a
macro and dos batch file so that at the dos prompt I could
type "dia" and the macro would give the command:
WP DIARY.DOC /M-BOTTOM.WPM
That would start WordPerfect and open the file "diary.doc" and
run the macro "bottom.wpm" which would go to the bottom of the
document, hit return, tab, insert day of week and date, etc.
With you help, I created the macro, but how do I get it to run
automaticly when I click on the diary icon I created?
