I've used pointers effectively in assembler routines and I
actually liked them a lot there but my exposure to them in C
didn't have nearly the positive results. I found myself getting
very confused because in assembler you always "know" when your
using pointers but because of the strong compiler support I
found I kept getting confused about what was what ;-) In theory
they are very useful but I had great difficulty wrapping my mind
around them in C ;-)

Thanks for that excellent rundown. I'll take it under
advisement.

I'll take that into consideration as well. Thanks again!
