Actually, I see a fair bit of reason to be messing around with the 30.06
cartridge. As long as you can get 30.06 brass, and assuming you have the
propre dies to begin with, you'll always be able to get brass for your
rifle, inlike, say, 30-40 Krag, which while not obscure, is probably not
going to be stocked in some Montana fishing camp with a seasonal
population of 12... :-)
