Dear Russell,

Whats your problem???

Someone asked what speed(s) hi LightSpeed 1414LC would support.
I answered

 => JR> four years ago as part of the group. The LightFax
1414LC you have
 => JR> is a  standard Rockwell chipped external Data/Fax
modem with 14.4
 => JR> kbps Data and
 => Fax
 => JR> speeds.

 => JR> With error correction and data compression it has a
theoretical
 => maximum
 => JR> throughput of 57,600 bps.

You then chipped in with -

 => Salesmans hype Pigs will fly if you shoot them out of a canon.
 => Theoretically.

Again - why ???

John.
