Hi Vicki,
VO> I think I'll start making it a habit. It would be something good
VO> to start doing.
Your machines will run better for the TLC they get. It may not be
obvious but there won't be lint fuzzies, thread ends, etc getting caught
up in your sewing.
VO> It makes sense. Never thought of it that way - the moisture. You
VO> don't think of it. I wonder what the electronic Endust would do to
Never heard of electronic Endust. Make friends with your favorite
sewing machine repair guru and ask him/her some of these questions; they
should keep aware of all of the new "helps" for their business.
RH> charges. It's fun going thru a bigger box of stuff too. (G)
VO> Sounds like fun. It's true, the postage and handling can kill you.
VO> And when you get the income from the sewing, then it's a good plan to

Generally, there's enough new in her catalog to tempt me to try it.
Remember in "The Little Mermaid" Ariel sings that she has gadgets and
whats its galore? Well, she should see my collection. (G) I also have
a few unusual things, like a couple of Polish spool holders that I got
while in Berlin. I'm trying to collect, besides thimbles, different
sewing related things.
RH> something happened to this sewing machine, I'd probably not be able to
RH> replace it with one of like quality so I have to
VO> Well, neither of my machines is very fancy, I don't use mine as
VO> much as you or others on the echo. I just don't have the time.
This one was a bit of a splurge but it should be the last machine I ever
buy for myself. I don't work (for pay) outside the home so I have the
opportunity to put it to lots of use. A couple of years ago, my home
business really got busier--not enough to get rich, by any means, but
word is spreading in this area that I sew. If I took out an ad in the
paper, I'd be swamped with business. I'd rather spread by word of
mouth; I can decide with an easier concious if I have time for that job
or not.
VO> BTW: Picked up the cone thread holder this morning at Walmart,
VO> hopefully I can try it out tonight when I get home from work.
OK, let me know what you think of it. Out of curiosity, was the price
the same as I saw in the Wal-Matr here ($4.24)? Just wondering if they
keep their pricing the same in different parts of the country.
Catch you later,
Ruth
