Hi Jasen,
Curiouser and curiouser ...
> I think the word should be whole-number not integer.
What is the difference? :-) Oh ... 0 is an integer, but not a whole
number. The nature of zero is metaphysics or Zen philosophy rather than
mathematics, isn't it?
> I don't care if 1 is prime or not, but I know that 2

What use *is* a prime number? Isn't being prime just a curious property
that some numbers possess and others don't?
Now you're going to tell me that the Pyramids were built of primes,
aren't you? :-) Maybe they'd have lasted even longer. How about a
prime-number- driven motor vehicle? Smokeless and pollution free, even. :-)
Has anybody heard from Arthur C Clarke recently?
I think I need to go and pet the meerkats. :-)
#include
extern int feed(), prime(long);
typedef int felix;
long time, later;
felix the_cats;
int main(void)
{ while(!prime(time))
feed(the_cats);
return later;
}
Best wishes,
Bill.
