Hi Tom, welcome to Parrots! I'm the moderator.
First off, are you SURE you have a true pair? If you don't have normal
greys, sometimes it's tough to be certain your birds are opposite sexes!
What color are your birds?
Once you're sure you have a PAIR, be patient with them. Sometimes just
the combination of a male and female doesn't guarantee reproduction.
Just as with people, sometimes they have to LIKE each other before they
ummm, mess around.  Your birds may not have gotten well enough
acquainted yet. Give them some more time. They have never actually bred
before either--they may just not know what is expected of them.
Hopefully, time and instinct will help them figure that part out. Your
male is 2--he's just old enough, IMHO. The hen is plenty old enough.
Also, they may not like the box--what style, size, and shape is it? What
are you feeding them? If the diet isn't right, they may not be triggered
to breed. The light may not be exactly right--not enough, or too much.
Maybe it shines into the nest too much. Maybe they don't feel "safe"
where their cage is located--too much family foot traffic passing by.
You get the idea--it may be any number of things that are keeping them
from breeding. Be patient and try changing things around--ONE thing at a
time or you won't know what made the difference.
