Like I said, I can't recall the last time I called a WC system. Hell,
don't recall the last time I used Qmodem/Pro for anything other than checking
the NVRAM status of my USR V.e modem. :) I've been mostly internetting or
working at the mailer level.

Ok, try logging on as a new user, under "R.Derry", for example, and see
what happens.

Try what I suggested above, and if it works, then go this route.

Actually, it sounds more and more like the problem is at the bbs, not
your end.
