Very bad news, as usually the edge tiles are loose and rising and falling
for some time before they become evident or fall off.
The problem is that when the tile is lifting it increases wear on the edge
of the mirror, and literally grinds in a turned edge which may only be
discovered once you start optical testing after achieving a full polish.
You will never polish out such a turned edge. Been there, tried to do that!
Do not epoxy the tile back on, and in fact you should gently test the other
edge tiles. If another lifts off then I would be strongly tempted to strip
them all. Happened to me once. I lifted the edge of a loose tile and all
the tile started to lift off. The dental stone had not been dense enough
and allowed to dry long enough, and the epoxy had not been the good stuff.
If the other tiles are secure, thank your ancestors and continue fine grinding.
