Back when CP/M was the dominant operating sys for PCs and BBSes were
just starting out, I wrote a little routine that would run on April 1
and October 31 each year. When the caller logged in, my routine would
take over and, duplicating what the caller was used to seeing on the
screen, would play with 'em. When the "Daemon" printed the line:
"Applying 110v to the telephone line", invariably at that point the carrier
would drop.
Wrote it in MSBasic v5.21. Everyone remember that one?
