Isn't that new-feather dust gross? I always seem to find it months
later, behind things the babies never got near, like canisters on
kitchen counters...how the heck does it migrate so far?
>Ideally, I would like something that vents to the outside. But, I also

I'm in the process of replacing my furnace and having central A/C
installed (cracked heat exchangers don't make for good long birdy or
human lives for some reason...). Anyway, I'm having a Honeywell
whole-house ELECTRONIC air cleaner installed. It has a permanent filter
that is removable, and is cleaned by running thru the dishwasher once
every couple weeks! This thing will have a fan switch on it so it can
run with the furnace, the A/C, or all by itself on the furnace fan (no
heat). So I will be able to dust the air any time I want to.
You might look into having something like that installed on your
heating/AC system. It's not cheap, but if the dust is a major problem it
might be worth investigating.
