A person that may be able to help me.
Recently I called a BBS and they had a 33600 modem running. I used
rontdoor's
term program and I connected at 28800. When I logged off I typed the at%q1
nd
this is what I got.
at%q1
TX data rate         = 28800  min = 28800  max = 28800
RX data rate         = 28800  min = 28800  max = 28800
Far echo delay       = 1ms
Far echo level       = -50dBm
Pre-emphasis filter  = 1
Pre-Coding           = TX 1 RX 1
Shaping              = TX 1 RX 1
Non-linear encoding  = TX 0 RX 1
Trellis mapping      = 16-4D
SNR                  = 35dB
Normalized band width= 150Hz-3825Hz
Symbol rate          = 3429
Why didn't it connect any higher than 28800? I have the same problem with
frontdoor not going any higher than 28800. I changed my 38400 connect string
to 31200 and my 57600 connect string to 33600. How can I make frontdoor
report anything higher than 28800? I use BNU fossil version 1.70 locked at
57600 with fd 2.12. I use atz as my first init string and the other 2 for
fax.
