Hello MARK,

I used a glas slide, on the National I used a chromed metall slide (don't
know the material, a guy here in Sulingen has started to produce and sell
this type commercially and I've one of the test exempels. But its shurely
heavier than a glas slide. The electric is a Dynacord who was until now
really hanging around on the wall, because the neck is damaged and way to
expensive to be repaired - in fact, I don't know if he could be repaired at
all. The neck is curved and something with the steel inside is wrong. I
played it for the first time the last ten years and it sounde good with
slide. Even through away my fingerpicks and used a slide.

Hope you're feeling fine anyway. By luck, guitars are not as heavy as pianos
;-)

I never heard the name of the guitarist nor the name of this resonator
electrics. But being off work is a fine way of avoiding a bad habitude
(working). I'm really working :-( hard in the moment in translating or better
get inspired by lyrics. Yesterday i tried 'She's just funny that way' by Rev.
Gary Davis. Every try gets worser ;-). My wife looked at it, took the
original lyrics, said 'take the kids for one hour', and when I came back,
she'd done genial german lyrics (with a little bit ironic on my person) for
this song :-)))))
So I hope, 'Nobodys fault but mine' could be the next song to get inspired by
:-)))
MFG,
Lutz
