This shows a deep misunderstanding of Islam.

There is you & there is God & that's it.

There are no "clerics" in a Judeo-Christian sort of way, merely
scholars of the book & frankly anyone can set himself up as one of
them.

Even if one set one self up as an Imam etc there is explicitly no hierarchy
in Islam so people can take your views as they might take the views of the
man next to them on the bus.
