First of all, you don't need to insult me.  I already said that I didn't
know anything about the IRA.  I appreciate the link you posted, now I know
more than I did before.  Most people pay more attention to issues that are
likely to affect them personally, and I freely plead guilty to that.

Secondly, OK, there were two priests who were actively involved.  Did the
Pope declare that their work was a holy furtherance of Catholicism and they
would be rewarded in heaven for killing Protestants?  That would be the
equivalent of what Muslim clerics say when Muslim terrorists kill
non-Muslims (in some cases, even Muslims of a different persuasion).
