The US is pushing IP law because well.. guess who has a lot of IP? I don't
know if that's going to work or not but if China and Russia want to build
they are going to have to come up with some good IP laws. That's not to say
they can't do better than the US insanity, I think our 100 year copyright
thing is doing more hurt then help but at least it's functional.

China is in for some serious problems, pollution is going to be a huge HUGE
major problem for them and to beat it they are going to need far more
strict guidelines than anything we've had to do in the US. Those pollution
restrictions raise the cost of making anything. If they don't do it then
their healthcare costs are going to be outrageous. They are growing too
fast and not dealing with this problem and that negligence is going to cost
them plenty in the long run.

Russia, not sure what to think yet, seems to me they have an abnormally
high number of alcoholics and crooks. I don't know if it's a major problem
or not. Certainly they have the resources to outpace the US but they just
don't seem to get it yet. It's like they are still asleep.

India, that's one that's on the ball and if you ask me they are more of a
long term economic threat to the US than anyone else.
