Oh indeed a limit on the BVR fighting was in some ways silly but it has to
be said that neither the Indian AF nor the USAF would really wish to give
each other their BVR envelopes. The reports of the SU'es seeing the F15'es
on their radar before the F15'es spotted the SU'es was entertaining.

What I (as a admirer of the small fighter) found interesting was how well
the updated mig 21'es did. It's a small target anyway (esp wrt visual &
head on) & with R77'es slung under....

A proto-killer drone IMHO. Shove in the piloting software & comms &
it would be good to go as a AD-Drone.

Bunch of converted Mig21'es round a SU27.....

Su goes high for maximum radar etc, drones stay at a variety of altitudes.
nasty surprise for any attacker as the R77'es come whistling in.
