BTW in the initial post I pointed out

"The four-year Taranis project will develop a UAV with fully
integrated autonomous systems and low observable features."

Note the timeframe & put that against the JSF delivery schedule etc.

Tanker aircraft + control center (converted from a std airliner) & a
squadron or two of Taranis et voila job done.
